| Chip Mamiya manages broker TPO’s and PCM affiliates for the greater Los Angeles and Northern Orange County area. Chip started in the mortgage industry in 1979 as a mortgage broker and was co owner of Southwest Financial Services until 1993. Chip has been a wholesale Account Executive continuously since 1994. Past employers include Barclay’s American Mortgage, Greenpoint Mortgage, Capitol Commerce Mortgage, American Brokers Conduit, and Wachovia/Vertice Mortgage. Chip started with Pinnacle Capital Mortgage in November of 2008, opening the Los Angeles/Northern Orange County area for PCM. As a former mortgage broker, and top ranked Account Executive, Chip has reviewed many loan packages. Being involved in both the wholesale and retail ends of the mortgage industry has allowed Chip a knowledgeable resource in finding solutions for each loan scenario. I really enjoy working in the mortgage business. I especially like working with the many mortgage professionals that are now in the business. My father who was a Real Estate Broker his whole life used to say "Sometimes there needs to be a forest fire in order to create new growth". This is the situation now with Mortgage professionals, anyone who has survived the past couple of years has to be truly good at what they do. I am very fortunate to have my wife, Lisa as my CSR. When not working on loans… I live in Cypress, California with my wife, Lisa, my daughter, Lori, my two “bonus” sons, Chasen and Spencer and our boxer/lab mix Molly. My oldest daughter Kristin is married and lives locally in the South Bay. In my free time, I enjoy camping at the beach, and riding my road bike with my wife and friends. We try to do a 50 mile ride each weekend. I also enjoy deep sea fishing for tuna, and tinkering on and riding my Harley Davidson Road King. |
